The HELIX is built on a 5-5-4 pattern, with the core of the buoyancy centered on the position of the hips to raise them relative to the rest of the body. The chest and torso panels use 5 mm Yamamoto Aerodome, which has super buoyancy to keep the hips high and generate an efficient downhill swimming position.
VO2 Chest Panel
The redesigned split chest construction naturally and anatomically accentuates the lungs, producing the optimal amount of buoyancy and maximizing stretch during breathing.
Aqua Feel
The ultra-light catch panels are made with the same water-repellent textile fabric used in our swimskins. These minimalist underarm panels increase awareness of arm position in the water, promoting better technique and more power.
Rear zipper closure
A frictionless neck design with a lower profile and more freedom of perception than any other suit.
Layered insulation foam technology (lift)
The new HELIX benefits from extra lift in the lower legs thanks to the ultra-buoyant NBR foam sandwiched between the premium Yamamoto rubber and the jersey lining. This panel technology allows us to create high buoyancy in specific areas such as the lower legs.
Flexibility
The highly flexible 100% nylon ultra-stretch jersey is lighter and has 35% better stretch compared to the previous wetsuit.
