Fit and last

When buying, check that your big toe has enough room: no pressure should be on the toe cap. The heel must be firmly anchored without pinching. Athletes with a wide forefoot or high instep should choose a model with a wider last. Cleat system and compatibility

Road cycling shoes have three bolt holes on the underside for a 3-bolt cleat, the system used with road pedals such as Shimano SPD-SL and Look KEO.
