Description
This Castelli Elite Speed suit is Castelli's fastest speed suit ever.
The secret lies in Castelli's uniquely designed woven stretch fabric.
Instead of stitching different fabrics together for different functions, we essentially change the texture and performance of the fabric in the areas where it needs to perform different functions.
This is most evident at the leg opening, where an elastic gripper is woven into the inside of the fabric to keep the leg in place, while the rest of the leg is smooth for speed in the water.
This technique allows the lower part of the suit to be removed ééa single piece of fabric is made.
And the suit also proves to be very fast on the bike during wind tunnel tests.
A different fabric has been applied to the chest and back that stays cooler and wicks away moisture.
NB: Castelli clothing runs smaller than normal.
