Description
The Castelli Unlimited Perfetto RoS 2 is the Unlimited version of the Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket and features a beautiful graphic finish that makes the jacket perfect for any surface without compromising performance.
The Perfetto RoS 2 excels in dry conditions thanks to its excellent breathability, but also in wet weather thanks to Castelli's exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER fabric.
A lightweight, fleece-lined, water-resistant fabric is used on the front and a lighter, stretchier fabric on the back for optimum breathability and excellent water-repellent properties.
The Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket blocks out the cold wind yet is much more breathable than the polyurethane membranes typically used in jackets attempting to compete with the Perfetto.
If you stay drier, you don't need as many layers. The beauty of this jacket is that it doesn't have any insulation of its own.
A thin base layer is sufficient for mild temperatures; you can brave truly cold temperatures with an insulating layer (a thermal shirt or Castelli's Alpha 2nd Layer). The choice is yours.
The 2 in the name refers to the changes to the latest version, including a YKK Vislon zipper with an opening at the top én at the bottom for adjustable ventilation.
The reflective elements at the back are more visible, the seam at the top of the shoulder has been moved back and the three pockets have been given more storage space.
The Perfetto continues to swear by a performance-oriented fit, but the new model has a little more room in the chest, shoulders and biceps.
