The Maurten drink mix - 160 18 x 40 grams is a sports drink based on hydrogel, made from natural alginate, pectin, electrolytes and carbohydrates.
Mix the contents of a sachet with 500ml of water and mix until it is completely dissolved.
Consume the Maurten drink mix 160 before, during and/or immediately after the effort.

If you need both energy and extra fluid in your body during endurance training, this is the product for you. The drink mix 160 contains 40 grams of carbohydrates when mixed with 500 ml of water. Use it before, after or during your training.
Amount of energy: Studies have proven that our body can use 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour during activity. Recent science has proven that the 0.8:1 ratio of glucose to fructose allows your body to absorb much more - up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour. When you mix a sachet of drink mix 160 with 500 ml of water, the drink contains 40 grams of carbohydrates.
How does it work? Drink mix 160 has been developed with hydrogel technology. If you mix this with mater you get a sports drink with a high amount of maltodextrin and fructose. The sports drink is converted into hydrogel by the stomach. The hydrogel ensures smooth transport of the carbohydrates through the stomach to the intestines where the water, salt and carbohydrates are then absorbed.
Instructions
Mix the contents of a sachet with 500ml of water and mix until completely dissolved. Consume the Maurten drink mix 160 before, during and/or immediately after exercise.
