Fuel for your fast:
Solid is not a replacement for training and racing on Hydrogel, it is a complement to it.
- For marathon runners, Solid is a perfect post-workout or post-race recovery snack to replace carbohydrates. It also works as an alternative to a pre-race meal.
- For cyclists, Solid is a great fuel option for low to medium intensity rides and as a before-and-after snack.
- For ultrarunners, the standard nutrition recommendation is to eat something from Solid every 4 hours. The salt content of Solid is also an advantage when replacing sodium during long training sessions and races.

Maurten had no intention of making a commercial product when they started Solid. They looked at the science and thought, "If we make a bar that is good enough for an elite rider or athlete, then it will be good enough for all athletes." As they dug into it and talked to their athletes, they realized that there just weren't many options for a performance bar. Solid is the result. Pure and simple.
