The Assos Mille GT Spring Fall Bib Tights S11 is a bibtight for the cool, dry days of late spring and early autumn. Medium insulation keeps your legs at temperature between +12 and +20 degrees, without cooking you the moment the sun comes out or the pace lifts.
The tight comes from the Mille GT endurance line, so it is tuned for long rides rather than short, hard efforts.

Warmth without bulk
The POLAR fabric weighs 250 grams per square metre and has a brushed inner face. That fibre structure traps a thin layer of air that works as insulation, while the outside stays smooth and compact. You notice the benefit on the first cool September mornings: your legs stay warm without the tight feeling like an extra layer. For endurance rides of three or four hours that is more comfortable than a thick winter tight you find too warm after an hour.
Comfort over long distances
The seat area comes from the Mille GT S11 pad, with a 12 mm cushioning platform and 3D Waffle foam: three layers of perforated material that absorb shock and let air through. The rollBar reinforcement keeps the pad in place when you get out of the saddle, and goldenGate 2.0 lets the pad move with you instead of sitting fixed to the tight. That is exactly what you want on rides where you spend hours in the same position.
Meeting the rest of your kit
The raw cut finish at the ankles is slim and flat, so the leg does not bunch under an overshoe and does not ride up into your sock. The same finish sits at the waist, which helps when you wear a jersey or jacket over the top. The zeroPressure waistband spreads pressure across a wide area, which on long rides is the difference between comfort and a band that digs in.

Is this tight windproof or waterproof?
Neither. On the Assos scale, wind resistance and water resistance both score 1 out of 5, because this is an insulating tight. For a cold headwind or sustained rain you pull a wind short over the top or choose a tight from the winter line with a protective front.
How thick is the pad?
The Mille GT S11 pad has a 12 mm cushioning platform built from three layers of perforated 3D Waffle foam. That is at the thicker end of the Assos range and intended for long endurance rides. The perforations let air pass through the pad, so it does not turn warm and clammy.
What is the difference with the Equipe RS version?
The Equipe RS Spring Fall Bib Tights S11 EVO has a racing cut, a thinner 9 mm pad and a windproof panel across the stomach and chest. This Mille GT is the endurance version: a roomier regularFit, a thicker pad and more emphasis on comfort over long distances. If you mainly ride hard and short, the Equipe RS suits you better; if you ride long, this is the more logical choice.
Does the leg ride up under overshoes?
That is what the raw cut finish is designed for. The leg ends in a slim, flat edge with no elastic and no seam, so nothing bunches under an overshoe or inside a sock. That saves pressure points and keeps the transition between tight and shoe clean.
