The front has the hardest job and therefore the warmest fabric: AIRBLOCK-EVO.916, the thickest softshell in the updated AIRBLOCK family. It stops the cold airflow dead while the fabric is suppler and more elastic than the previous generation. On a long straight stretch into a headwind your torso stays warm without you having to push harder to stay up to temperature.

Staying dry from the inside

Warmth is half the story, sweat management the other half. The RX EVO Plus back panel insulates and repels water, but lets through more vapour than a dense softshell. Lighter RX thermal fabric on the inner arms, the sides and around the collar makes sure you do not get clammy on the climb and are not left shivering on the descent.

Fit and layering

The regularFit follows your body contours with as few seams as possible. The raw cut finish at the sleeves and hem closes narrowly, so the jacket meets your gloves neatly and combines easily with a thermal layer underneath or a shell over it. For long rides that is more pleasant than a tight race cut.

Practical on the road

At the back are three triple ramp pockets. The flexible fabric panels in the pockets clamp your kit in place and protect it against splashing road water, so your phone, gel and tyre repair kit stay dry and still.
