The Castelli Alpha 150 Jacket is specially designed for cyclists who don't want to compromise on comfort and performance during the winter. The jacket is the result of 12 years of refinement and innovation, with the goal of keeping you warm, dry, and protected—whether you're riding in freezing cold, blustery winds, or light rain.
The outer layer is made from Castelli's exclusive Polartec® AirCore™ fabric, which is wind and rain resistant while offering unparalleled breathability. This prevents you from overheating during intense efforts. On the inside, Polartec® Alpha™ insulation provides an excellent balance of warmth, moisture management, and lightweight comfort. Unlike traditional winter jackets, the Alpha 150 doesn't feel bulky or heavy. The stretchy, close-fitting design gives you freedom of movement and an aerodynamic profile without compromising on warmth. This jacket is ideal for cold to very cold days and offers protection against almost all weather conditions—except prolonged, heavy rain, for which an additional shell rain jacket is recommended.
In addition to performance, sustainability is key: the jacket is PFAS-free and made from recycled yarns. Practical details such as a YKK® Vislon® two-way zipper, three spacious back pockets, a handy zippered pocket for keys or money, and reflective piping complete this jacket.
