Midsole
To make your runs as comfortable as possible, the HOKA Challenger 8 GTX features a redesigned EVA midsole with extra foam underfoot. This extra cushioning provides more comfort and protection during longer runs, without compromising the shoe's flexible character. The midsole feels light and responsive, making the Challenger 8 GTX suitable for both paved roads and unpaved trails. Thanks to the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, the shoe is completely waterproof, while remaining flexible and lightweight. Rain, puddles, mud, and even wet snow are no longer an obstacle. The 3D screen-printed toe cap protects your toes from bumps and sharp objects, while reflective details provide extra visibility. The handy heel loop makes it easy to put on and take off.
Outsole
The outsole features redesigned multidirectional traction lugs with a 4 mm lug depth. These provide reliable grip in multiple directions, on both wet and dry surfaces. This makes the Challenger 8 GTX feel stable and secure on trails, while remaining surprisingly smooth on asphalt. Perfect for runners who like variety in their routes.
