Hoka Clifton 9 GTX running shoes
The HOKA Clifton 9 is a neutral running shoe that allows you to comfortably rack up the miles on all your running days. This version has been updated with GORE-TEX Invisible Fit and weather-resistant studs for extra grip. This is HOKA's first ever waterproof road running shoe, featuring 360-degree reflectivity and a closed mesh construction for extra protection.
Midsole
The midsole in this version has 2 mm more and renewed foam for greater comfort, durability, and responsiveness. This extra material between you and the road reduces the impact on your body. The new material ensures a smooth transition between your steps. It is lighter in weight but feels more sturdy than previous versions. What remains unchanged and unmistakably Clifton is the low drop and Rocker fit to support the natural running motion.
Upper
The upper of the new Clifton consists of a woven knit with texture for extra breathability. In addition, the upper is 360 degrees reflective, which ensures better visibility. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit with recycled material is designed for lighter, more breathable, waterproof ventilation. The heel cap and tongue of the shoe gently envelop your foot.
Durabrasion Rubber™ outsole for improved grip on slippery surfaces Studs for extra grip For softer contact with the ground
vegan mesh material and, in this version, has been stripped of overlays where possible. This makes the shoe lighter.
Outsole
Grip has been improved by adjusting the grooves on the outsole, which feel slightly coarser than the 8. This creates a better connection with the road. It's up to you to consistently rack up the miles. Your Clifton 9 is ready for it.
