Description
The Gel100 CAF from Maurten is the world's first energy gel with this technology.
Traditionally, the sports world tries to mask the bitter taste of caffeine with sweeteners and other flavors.
However, these flavors do not help you go faster, sufficient caffeine is also necessary.
By using the biopolymer matrix, Maurten has succeeded in encapsulating both carbohydrates and caffeine.
The result is impressive, a gel with low bitterness, low sweetness, effective caffeine and a high energy content.
Properties:
The GEL100 CAF contains 100 mg caffeine - that is the same as 1.5 espresso - or a cup of coffee. That's a lot compared to traditional gels. It provides 25 grams of carbohydrates through a unique blend of fructose and glucose (0.8:1 ratio). It has a high weight-to-energy ratio and contains no added flavors, preservatives or colorings. Like all our products, it is vegan-friendly.
Use the GEL100 CAF only during shorter periods or combine it with other Maurten products to ensure you have enough carbohydrates throughout your session.
