Description
The XLAB Chimp Cage bottle cage was designed with one specific problem in mind: removing water bottles from your frame quickly and smoothly, even when your bike’s geometry makes it difficult. Standard bottle cages often fail, especially on triathlon and aero frames, where space is limited and you often have to remove the bottle at an angle. Not this one.
The Chimp Cage tackles that problem head-on with an optimized removal angle of 30 degrees. That may sound small, but in practice, it makes the difference between struggling and grabbing your bottle smoothly while riding. At the same time, the grip remains firm enough to keep your bottle securely in place, even on rough terrain.
Made from extra-stiff carbon, using the same manufacturing process as the well-known Gorilla Cage, this cage combines strength with low weight. At approximately 38 grams, it remains lightweight without compromising reliability.
