About XLAB
XLAB was founded in 1993 on the San Diego coast when the founders, operating the Nytro triathlon shop in Encinitas, noticed athletes needed better, faster hydration and storage solutions. What began as practical innovations for their customers grew into a specialized design studio with one goal: less drag, more stability, maximum usability.
This philosophy still drives every product: designs start on the drawing board with 3D modeling and CFD/wind tunnel validation, then get refined on the road with feedback from pro triathletes during real races.
