The Zone3 Lava long distance has been specially designed for long distances and is therefore equipped with many features for great comfort.
The Lava collection has won multiple awards since its launch in 2013 and we will continue to develop and improve this collection.
We use the very best Italian and French materials to improve comfort, repel water and optimise aerodynamics.
Comfort is very important during a run and that's why we've made significant improvements to the fabric.
The lava suit benefits from these improvements and this is reflected in the temperature control, the breathability on the upper body and the freedom of movement.
Aero-Stripe:
The innovative striped material from Italy is located on the upper chest to improve aerodynamics.
Through the use of UPF-50 texture material, the suit creates turbulence over the main boundary layers at high speeds on the bike.
This reduces drag and improves race times.
Aeroforce soft touch:
A high quality and technically advanced material ensures great coverage and "invisible" feel on the front body.
It is a light and breathable material that provides 360 degrees of stretch.
A very fast-drying material that has a high-tech water-repellent nano coating to reduce resistance in and out of the water.
Sensory:
An extremely smooth and soft fabric that feels fantastic against the skin, it provides extra support and compression on the legs together with a full water repellent coating.
The fabric is highly breathable and sweat wicking, while the 360º stretch ensures total freedom of movement.
- Each fabric has been carefully chosen and positioned to improve performance, comfort and endurance.
- Balanced compression is delivered through the legs thanks to a carefully designed panel shape and the high denier classification of the Sensory fabric. This enhances muscle support and helps improve blood flow to the legs, reducing the amount of lactic acid and improving stamina and endurance.
- Brand new 'Iron Performance' pad: The perforated pad lamination provides ultimate breathability and fast drying. The high-density foam provides more padding and protection during cycling and the central channeling in the perinea area is designed to compensate for pressure points. The high degree of elasticity in the pad also ensures maximum freedom of movement when swimming and running. Described by 220 Magazine as "remarkably good on the saddle".
- Heat Bonded Sleeves: For optimal fit and comfort and less resistance compared to stitching.
- Comfortable fit design throughout the body, allowing you to maximize performance when swimming, cycling and running.
- Optical white color used on most of the top to help reflect the heat from the sun.
- Nutrition storage pockets: located on the back, these are designed with a heat-resistant cover so the gels can be stored and easily accessed on the bike or while running.
- Construction: Using heat bonding, flat-lock stitching and closed stitching, you'll find the perfect balance between comfort and speed. Semi-auto-lock zipper on the front.
