iJ.bonKa is the ultimate high-performance Assos winter jacket. New technology, new know-how, new improvements. iJ.bonKa replaces the legendary Assos airJack. Compared to its predecessor, the iJ.bonKa has less volume, is lighter in weight, offers better protection, and has more functionality.
The Bonka is available in Cento (slim fit) and Mille (regular fit) versions.
Depending on the thickness of the base layer, this winter jacket can be worn in cold weather conditions from 0 to 8°C. But even with extra warm base layers, you can wear the jacket to just below freezing.
The iJ.bonKa consists of 32 pattern pieces, 6 different fabrics, and 13 components. The new ASSOS TwinDeckFoiling technology in the chest and upper arm sections is a labor-intensive double-layer construction, combining strataGonUltra Airblock fabric on the outside and RXQ fabric on the inside.
Why? More effective insulation and a better contour fit.
The jacket has an extra layer of wind protection on the chest and elbows. An ergonomically shaped turtleneck is incorporated on the inside of the collar, which you can pull up high and fits seamlessly around the neck and face.The back is made of ASSOS RX fabric for better ventilation, allowing the iJ.bonKa to transport perspiration very effectively. The integrated ASSOS stabilization panel on the back prevents excessive vertical stretching, so that well-filled back pockets do not sag.
