Castelli designed a great line of jackets considering female anatomy. Fit is very important: it should not be too tight or loose, providing a comfortable fit. The women's jackets come in many versions. If it is colder, around 5°C, you can choose a lined jacket. Between 5-15°C, usually in autumn/spring, a lighter breathable jacket is recommended. Sleeveless jackets are also available.
Sizes for women range from XS to XL.
For men, fit is also critical. Jackets must fit snugly but not tight, ensuring comfort. The men's jackets come in different versions. For cooler days around 5°C, a lined jacket is recommended. For 5-15°C, a lighter lined jacket is suitable. Sleeveless jackets are also available.
Castelli jackets come in many versions: long or short sleeves, with or without rear pockets, but most importantly, they offer wind and/or water protection. You want to ride comfortably during colder days.
Depending on the jacket, it has GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER or GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY technology. INFINIUM is a lightweight material that is windproof and water-resistant, yet highly breathable.

Besides innovative materials, other features are important when buying a Castelli jacket. They are made for cycling. Standing upright, the jacket may feel tight at shoulders and chest, which is normal as cycling involves a slightly bent posture. In this position, the jacket fits perfectly, including shoulders and chest.
The front is shorter than the back to protect lower back and clothing from wind, water, and mud. Often stretch material adds flexibility. High collar fully zippable keeps wind from your throat. Sleeves have special cuffs to protect wrists.
